I am so grateful for all the love y’all have been showing The Stickered Suitcase. As a thank you, I’m hosting another giveaway! One winner will be chosen at random to win the mother lode of prizes: The TLS Mother Lode Weekender Convertible travel backpack from eBags in the color of their choice! Scroll to the bottom of this post to enter! The winner will be announced on November 21, 2019.
This bag is sweeeeet. I bought it for a tour of Portugal where we were encouraged to only bring a carry-on bag. I did a lot of research on travel backpacks before buying, and this one received phenomenal reviews. Over 8,000 people have weighed in on ebags.com and given it a 4.7 star rating. After using it myself, I can see why.
Features and Specs
The exterior of the bag measures 22″ x 14″ x 9″, and it weighs just under 4 lbs. It fits the specifications for most airline carry-on bag policies, which means it will save you from having to pay the hefty baggage fees that most airlines charge these days.
Other reasons I love this bag:
- It unzips like a suitcase, so you don’t have to dig aimlessly in the bottom of your bag to find stuff like you do with with standard backpacks.
- Large main compartment with compression straps. It also has a mesh panel compartment and a detachable smaller bag that’s perfect for shampoo and body wash.
- 3 exterior pockets (one has interior organizational pockets and a key leash)
- Padded laptop sleeve that will hold a 19″ computer
- Zip expansion of 1.5″ and 4 exterior compression straps
- A water bottle pocket that you can zip away when not using
- Stow-away backpack straps
- Handles on the top, bottom, and side. It doesn’t matter how you stow this bag in the overhead compartment, there will be a handle to grab to get it down!
You can read a complete list of everything this bag has to offer HERE.
You’re probably thinking, Can this bag get any better? It can. The TLS Mother Lode Weekender Convertible Backpack comes in a variety of fun colors. It was really hard to settle on which one I liked best. Had the limited edition Emerald color been available when I purchased, I would have bought that one. However Garnet is my birthstone and favorite color, so I went with it. It suits me perfectly. If you are the lucky winner, you can pick any one of the available colors you want!

Great blog – I am loving The Stickered Suitcase!
Thank you! <3 Sending you love from Portugal!
I’ve heard only good things about this bag! It comes in a smaller size, too, which is supposed to be perfect for shorter folks.
I’m using it right now in Portugal for a 10 day trip and am loving it! I was able to pack an impressive amount and I still had some extra space. I looked at the Junior bag too, but I have a problem with overpacking so went with the bigger one 😅

Hey Chelsea! That sounds like a wonderful honeymoon trip. You’ve chosen 2 incredibly romantic cities to visit! We absolutely LOVED Florence when we honeymooned there and will definitely be returning. The architecture, the food, the art… all amazing.
