Is Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida Worth It?

Did you know that there is a Peppa Pig Theme Park in Florida completely dedicated to the world’s most beloved pig?

If you have young children, you’ve probably seen a few episodes of Peppa Pig. And if your household is anything like Kayla’s, you’ve watched every episode around 50 times and there are multiple Peppa Pig toys lying around.

With Kayla’s daughter being so Peppa obsessed, it was only natural that she planned a trip to Florida specifically to visit the exciting world of singing pigs and muddy puddles.

In this post, we’re sharing all the details of Peppa Pig Theme Park and to answer the question you’re all wondering – Is Peppa Pig Theme Park in Florida worth it?

Where Exactly is Peppa Pig Theme Park and How Much Does it Cost?

Often overshadowed by the Disney Parks, Peppa Pig Theme Park is located in Winter Haven – around 1.5 hours south of Orlando. It is conveniently located right next to Legoland – another fantastic option for parents wanting a fun filled day at non-Disney prices. Since Kayla’s daughter had only just turned 2, they skipped Legoland this time around.

If you do want to experience both parks though, you can purchase 2 day combination tickets for only $119 per person at the time of this post. That’s 2 days of fun at 2 different parks (3 really if you count the water park that’s included) for less than a 1 day ticket for a Disney park.

Singular tickets to Peppa Pig Theme Park are also available starting as low as $34 per person when you book online! We strongly recommend purchasing tickets in advance online to avoid paying more for tickets at the gate.

You can opt to stay at the Legoland hotel to be within walking distance to Peppa Pig World. Since Kayla’s mini adventurer isn’t really into Legos yet though, they decided to stay at one of their favorite mid-range Disney resorts and drive to Peppa Pig world. This is a great way to still experience some Disney magic without paying the cost to visit the Disney parks.

What to Bring for Your Fun Filled Day

The amusement park has a water park area and is located in the heart of Florida. With this in mind, we recommend bringing the following items in a backpack (this is the one Kayla brings on all trips with her 2 year old):

  • Sunscreen – The ride queue spaces have very little shade
  • Bathing suit for your child – This Peppa Pig one and this George swim trunk set are so cute! Kayla accidentally left her daughter’s swimsuit at the hotel and paid a pretty penny for one at the park.
  • Towel
  • Stroller Fan – There are not a lot of shady areas in the park to cool off. Kayla brings this Amacool Stroller Fan on every trip she takes and loves that it easily fits to the stroller lap bar or can stand as a tripod on a table.
  • Snacks in case anyone gets hangry waiting in line
  • Insulated water bottle to keep drinks cool even in the sun – Kayla’s daughter loves Thermos Funtainers because of all the fun character options

Rides

Booking.com

There are five rides at Peppa Pig Theme Park in Florida. Lines weren’t long when Kayla went in November, and judging by the small queue areas, we don’t imagine they usually ever get too long.

On Daddy Pig’s Roller Coaster, Daddy Pig takes the wheel and whizzes you around the track in his new red car. This is a smaller coaster that is very smooth. Kayla’s 2 year old was tall enough to ride. It was her first roller coaster!

While Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride is a leisurely aerial carousel ride, Mr. Bull’s High Striker will have everyone in a fit of giggles as it raises you up in the air and drops you several times.

Our favorite ride though was Grampy Rabbit’s Dinosaur Adventure, where you and your child can mount a dinosaur and glide past volcanoes and other dinos. There is a seat for an adult or older kid to sit and a smaller seat in front for kids to perch if they are too small to ride alone. This was the longest line experienced at around 25 minutes.

Grandad Dog’s Pirate Boat ride is the place to be whenever you want to cool off. Board your boat, sit back, and relax as you bob along on the seas!

Play Areas

There are lots of play areas at the park for your little ones to enjoy. The largest area is Granny Pig’s Garden which has 2 playgrounds, slides and little tunnels to crawl through, and hills to climb. There are also cute little rocking insects (as opposed to rocking horses).

Granny Pig’s Garden also has several statues and large cutouts of some of the most beloved characters from the show. Kayla’s daughter LOVES Madame Gazelle and Mandy Mouse and was absolutely thrilled to be able to give their statues a hug. Each statue has a speaker next to it where you can listen to the characters talk.

Just beside this area is George’s Fort – a tall blue castle like structure with a hedge maze surrounding it. Wind your way through the maze to see what’s hiding inside the fort!

Older kids will like zipping around on Peppa Pedal Bike Tour with camping props along the trail. Younger children aren’t left out though, as they can cycle around George’s Tricycle Trail on smaller bikes more suitable for tots.

Right beneath Peppa Pig’s Balloon Ride are a few carnival style games for kids to enjoy. There’s a bean bag toss where you can try and throw bean bags into a hole. Next to it is a game where you throw bean bags at a stack of cans to try and knock them over. There’s also a game where you use a long pole with a hook to try and catch a rubber duck as they spin around in a circle.

Mr. Potato’s Show Time Arena

Everyone knows that Mr. Potato is the world’s most famous celebrity, and it’s only fitting that he has a stage named after him at the park. Not only is there an enormous statue of Mr. Potato, this is also the location of daily shows where Peppa and her family come out to play!

This is the shadiest area of the park, and you’ll see people lounging on the fluffy pillows there in between shows. Whenever a show starts up, it gets quite crowded though with families trying to see Peppa in real life!

When Kayla visited, there was an interactive show where Peppa did a dancing game with the audience – all of the kids got a kick out of it! Be sure to go to at least one of the shows during the day that are put on at the stage. It is the only opportunity to interact with Peppa and family!

Sometimes Peppa and George wear holiday outfits. Be sure to follow Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida on Facebook to stay in the loop on any special holiday happenings that may be going on during your visit!

Sandy Beach & Muddy Puddles Splash Pad

Peppa Pig Theme Park in Florida has a fantastic splash pad and a sandy space adjacent to it.

We recommend changing into swimsuits and playing in the sand before you go to the splash pad. There are restrooms (that were very clean) across from the splash pad and showers to rinse off sand by the splash pad. There are also changing rooms by the splash pad.

The sandy area isn’t technically a “beach”, but it’s bigger than a sandbox. Kids will have plenty of room to build sand castles to their heart’s content. There is some shade in this area and benches for parents to sit.

The splash pad is a large area with bubbling fountains and sprinklers toward the entrance where smaller children will feel comfortable splashing around. Muddy puddles painted on the ground give the full effect that you’ve stepped into Peppa’s world. Beyond that is a huge jungle gym with mini water slides and more sprinklers.

If you don’t plan on getting wet (or if you have tiny tots), be sure to keep an eye on the giant bucket of water that gradually fills and then dumps water all over the jungle gym!

You can easily spend over an hour in the splash pad area alone. After everyone’s dried off, they’ll probably be ready for some downtime in The Cinema or something to eat from Miss Rabbit’s Diner.

The Cinema

There are a few store fronts stringed together by the pedal paths that have a good amount of tables and chairs outside and a shaded cover. One of these is The Cinema. This is the perfect place to escape the heat or wind down for nap time. Episodes of Peppa are shown continuously throughout the day with bean bags for sitting.

Miss Rabbit’s Diner

You’re bound to get hungry after all that playing and splashing in muddy puddles. When you do, you’ll want to head on over to Miss Rabbit’s Diner.

Miss Rabbit does every odd job in Peppa’s world, so it should come as no surprise at all that she also owns a diner! The restaurant serves simpler fare, with the highlight on the menu being the muddy puddle milkshakes. You can get this sweet treat in chocolate or strawberry!

Since this is the only restaurant on the property, the line to order can get quite long at lunch time. This isn’t ideal if anyone in your party is hangry. So we suggest bringing snacks as a backup and if need be, you can swing through one of the restaurants outside the park on your way out.

Mr. Fox’s Shop

Mr. Fox’s Shop is the gift shop on property and is located right next to the cinema. You won’t want to leave without swinging by here. They have more Peppa merchandise than you could ever imagine!

From toys to clothes to stuffed animals and even Peppa themed body wash, they’ve got it all. Buying something from the store is a great way to commemorate your trip – especially if you leave with an item you can’t typically find in stores at home.

The Final Verdict – Is Peppa Pig Theme Park Florida Worth it?

In all, we had an oinktastic day at the park! The park is on the smaller side compared to others in Florida, but it is jam packed with fun activities.

Our only negative feedback is that we wish the queue spaces for rides offered more shade and that they would add even more dining options with expanded menus.

If your child is a Peppa Pig fan in any way though, visiting this park is an absolute must. The park is thoughtfully designed to make you feel like you’ve stepped right into a episode of Peppa. All of the character incorporations are super cute. The rides are oodles of fun, and the splash pad area is an excellent way to escape the heat.

Kayla’s family had a great time and her daughter can’t wait to visit again!

  1. I live 1 mile away from the park and my 5 year old niece visits me once a month from Virginia just to visit Peppa pig. We normally stay from the time it opens until closing time. She goes on every ride unlimited times. She meets lots of kids in the sand box. I like it too. It’s not too big and over crowded whereas it gives little kids a chance to have fun! Sometimes I get on the rides with my niece. It’s a new adventure every time my niece visits 😃

The eatery can have a bigger variety selection but otherwise everything else is great

  2. Wow, this park looks fantastic. My kids loved Peppa Pig when they were young but are now more into Legoland, so we would probably spend more of our time there. Lucky they are close to each other!

  3. I don’t have children so not too aware of the world of Peppa Pug aside from the mention in White Lotus. But this park looks adorable! Think I might secretly love it as an adult too 🙂

  4. This is adorable! Such a great place for the younger kiddos to go and have fun! Great tips on brining snacks since there is only one restaurant! Good things to know before you go! Thank you!

  5. What an awesome theme park for kids! Love all the pics, super helpful as a mom to be able to SEE what the park offers! Thanks so much!
